This vintage
PORKY PIG
doll is in nice shape. His talking mechanism runs
fast
most of the time. The first time I tested him before taking these pics it was going fast. It had been years since I tried him. Then it started dragging and was hard to pull. It is back to very fast again now.
At times
it sounds normal at the very end. It is NOT working properly. They can be repaired/replaced. You can see where it has a sewing repair to the back side of the grommet area where the pullstring comes out of the doll for the 'talk box'. He has some faint/pale beige liquid stains on his body in front. Two little spots behind his right leg. What look like a blue vein is just the stuffing material in that same leg. Still has his Mattel tag in good, not great shape. The Porky doll is from
1964
. Shirt collar has brownish stains on back. Back of his rubber head has minor mark at highest point. From a non-smoking/pet-free home. 16" tall. Mine is in WAY better shape than one that sold for on here.
It's tail was partially cut off among other flaws!
