    Description

    Up for auction is one vintage original Winchester Supplemental Chamber insert that allows you to adapt your .303 Savage caliber rifles like the Savage model 99 to fire .32 S&W rounds.  According to the old advertisements it was intended for short range or in-door target practice with pistol ammunition.  It appears to be unused New Old Stock in it's original paper wrapping, but it has been handled, (please see photos) and is marked "Winchester Rep. Arms Co. Patented Aug. 22 1899.  .303 Caliber-Savage.  Use .32 S.&W.-Smokeless."  I believe these were originally sold in sets of five, wrapped in this paper and packaged in Winchester marked cardboard boxes.  Shipping is free (in a padded envelope) in the lower 48 States.  Please email any questions.  Sorry, no overseas bidders or shipping.  Thank you for looking.
